Getting Involved

As a customer focused organisation, at Plumlife we value the involvement of those who have first hand experience of our service. There are a variety of ways that you can help to shape what we do.

Mystery Shopping

This scheme allows residents to get involved from the comfort of their own home! When contacting Plumlife you report back on your experience by simply completing two short questionnaires and returning them to the scheme co-ordinator. Only people that run the scheme are aware of the identities of the ‘Mystery Shoppers’.

Residents’ Panel

This new panel offers members the flexibility of fitting their involvement around their other commitments. The main role of the panel is to give feedback via email or post on a variety of Plumlife literature including newsletters, leaflets and standard letters. Members are also invited to service reviews and complaints panels that they can attend when it suits them!

Plumlife Board of Management

If you would like to get involved in making the decisions at the highest level of Plumlife why not consider becoming a future member of the Plumlife Board?

The Board has numerous rewarding responsibilities including:

  • Ensuring we provide the best possible service to residents
  • Considering proposals for new services, buildings and partnerships
  • Ensuring we work within budgets
  • Influencing the development of Plumlife as a whole
  • Assessing performance

We have reserve places on our Board for shared owners or leaseholders.  Being a board member offers the opportunity  to develop valuable skills and knowledge.

Resident’s Committees

Residents have the right to form and join a Resident’s Committee to represent their interests. Plumlife can provide helpful guidelines on forming a Residents’ Committee on request.

Consultation

Plumife will get in touch with you regarding important decisions or information on your scheme, this includes: service charge accounts and budgets; long term contracts; and major works above a certain value.
