What is the process for selling my Shared Ownership home?

STEP 1

Instruct us to sell your Shared Ownership home by filling out the intention to sell form.

STEP 2

Get a 100% valuation from a Qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS OR FRICS) and send this to us.

STEP 3

The next step is to wait for approval from Plumlife.

STEP 4

Once approved, we will then market your home, one of our experienced and friendly Shared Ownership experts will be on hand at all times.

STEP 5

We sell your home, we’ll work hard to find an eligible buyer and then work together with you and your solicitors to sell your home and complete the sale.

Costs

Please note that you will be responsible for any costs associated with selling your share in your home.

Costs will include:*

  • Agency fees £1,500 +VAT
  • Sales Administration fee £250 +VAT
  • Plumlife Solicitors fees £425 +VAT
  • Energy Performance Certificate (if required) £50 – £100
  • Management Pack Fee (if required) £200 inc VAT**

*prices are correct at the time of publication (May 25) and are subject to change.

**varied rates for different properties such as house no services, flats with services.

Our Agency Sales fee will only apply where Plumlife have found a buyer. The sales admin fee will be applicable to all sales. You will be responsible for all your legal costs and please always check with your solicitor to confirm all applicable fees prior to proceeding.
